Here is the link to the Lilies War XXII (2008) Pictures.

They are set up in a shopping cart system. Feel free to browse them all you want, though. I have found that selecting “slideshow” and looking through them that way is the easiest way. They are NOT, (despite our best efforts), in any particular order, (especially the Waterbearer’s Tourney, which inexplicably got spread all about), so take a look at all of them. We have many battle scenes, as well as some of courts, classes and fireworks. LOTS of pictures taken…

You can order prints of any of the shots we have through the shopping cart, too. We offer standard photos as 4X6, 5X7 and 8X10. The 8X10 is also offered as a mounted canvas print (makes it look kind of like an “old world” painting). Also, you can have your photos put on a coffee mug or mouse pad. Can you imagine the look on your co-workers face when they ask “Who’s that guy in the armor on your mouse pad?” and you say, “Me!”

It does ask for an email address. This is to mark photos as “favorites” and to make your own “favorites gallery”. You can uncheck the check box at the bottom of that page to “opt-out”, but you shouldn’t get any emails anyhow, either way… We’re the only ones who can send out emails from there, and we don’t even get to see the email list, just a “send message to all subscribers” link.
As soon as we delete the gallery (probably in about 90 days or so) the list, with your email address, disappears. The only email we may send out is a short one just before we delete the gallery, just to let people know it’s going away.

Please enjoy the photos, and come back here and leave us comments about them. And remember, any money we make off of these photos goes to fund our return to Lilies next year, and more picture galleries!

I thought I would share a couple of photos from Cave Spring that I took recently. With the weather getting warmer and the grass getting greener, now is the time to have current photos of your family taken.

We just finished an awesome photoshoot! A young lady came to us wanting to take some special pictures just for her husband. (Not anything trashy… Just sexy in a very classy way.) The pictures turned out beautiful, and she seemed really pleased with the whole experience.

If any of you ladies out there are interested in something like this, please read on and I will give a little rundown of how the afternoon went.

Ok, first of all, she was not looking for anything even remotely pornographic… Just some glamorous photos to share with her husband.

For a shoot like this, we suggest setting aside 3-4 hours. This particular shoot was about 3 1/2 hours long. (There were many outfit changes and a few breaks in there, so it’s not as long as it sounds.) We also suggest bringing a friend with you. A friend can help you with changing and deciding what to wear much more comfortably than the photographer can. Additionally, it’s a lot of fun, and with your friend there it will be even more fun!

Bring 4-5 outfits that you like or that you know your husband likes. This can be dresses, robes, jeans, whatever. Plan to arrive with your makeup and hair done however you want it for the photos, but you can show up in “comfy” clothes and change into your first outfit at the studio.

We’ll fill out the paperwork first (a model release, which verifies your age and your consent to be photographed, and a copyright release, which will allow you to use the images we take of you however you want, including having them printed), and take care all of the administrative business. Then, we’ll get started on the shoot! We have several different chairs and props to use for the photos, and we’ll give you a chance to change outfits and such as well. We have a bathroom and a separate office where you and your friend can go to get you changed into outfits and touch up your makeup and hair.

Once we are done with the photos, we’ll agree on a date that your photos will be ready, usually within 2-3 weeks or less. (We crop and do some minor basic retouching (blemish clearing, skintone balancing, and a few other little clean-ups) of the images before we release them.) We’ll load them to a CD for you, and either mail it to you or you can pick it up from our office. This is a good plan if you are only doing the photos for your husband, because you can take them from the disc and put them directly into a digital frame (purchased at any electronics store, or we can get one for you at cost). If you are interested in having them printed from a professional lab (results will be better than if you try to get them done at Wal-Mart or CVS from your disc), you can let us know which photos you want printed and what sizes you want them in, and we’ll work out a package deal for you based on your choices. And, if you order prints within 30 days of getting your CD, we’ll even knock 10% off of your package price!
